Holistic Health & Fitness

Human beings are not just physical beings; we also have a soul and a spirit.

I believe we function on these three levels and to enjoy a complete state of well being we must have not only physical health but also health on the soul and spiritual levels.

Most people are aware of a physical side and while others have an idea of what the soul of a person is, very few understand the concept of the human spirit.

Over the next few weeks, on this website, I will attempt to distinguish between the three parts of a person. Some of my views may be controversial and seen by some as having no scientific basis. Feel free to add your comments and views

The Physical Being

The most obvious part of a human being consists of the body, which is the vessel for the soul. The physical is made up of the muscular system, digestive system, nervous system and skeletal system. Vital organs include the brain.,

Health on this level consists of taking part in physical exercise and observing sound nutrition. Other contributors are what we apply to the body in terms of personal care products, and also, what we tend to breathe into the body, either directly or indirectly. (E.g. products sprayed into the environment).
